Henri Tatham, Celebrant.

About Me

I am a professional, authorised celebrant who will design your ceremony to reflect your unique style, values and beliefs. I have wealth of experience and have conducted wedding ceremonies in many locations, from Ibiza to my home country of Sri Lanka and am happy to travel to your venue, wherever it may be!

My purpose is to help you commemorate life’s landmarks in a personal way that truly expresses the significance of the event for you. My aim is to ensure that your ceremony is a joyous, momentous occasion to remember with pleasure in the years to come.

I am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and have attained my certificate in Marriage and Family Celebrancy from the UK College of Celebrancy.

The Role of the Celebrant

“A culture that forgets its rites of passage eventually loses its capacity to celebrate joy and unity” – Michael Meade, author.

Rites of passage are those moments when an individual or group pauses, through ceremony or ritual, to acknowledge an important life change. Such changes include birth, marriage and renewal of vows.

Celebrants believe in the power and effectiveness of ceremony and ritual to serve the individual. We collaborate with our clients to create and perform personalised ceremonies. Celebrants are trained to focus on the values and priorities of the client, so that the ceremony is a total reflection and extension of them.
